John McDonald has exhibited internationally and nationally, completing many commissions including New Contemporaries (1978) and Northern Young Contemporaries (1976-79). McDonald was formally Director of Three Dimensional Studies at the Clerkenwell Centre of Arts, London. He was elected a member of the Royal Society of Sculptures in 2012. For 28 years he taught fulltime in schools, colleges and universities throughout London.
John says:
