An exploration of the relationship between sculpture and drawing, considering drawing in its broadest sense

Drawings from The Ingram Collection of Modern British Art were paired with drawings by contemporary sculptors, in a conversation which played out across the paired works and the show as a whole.

Parallel Lines: Sculpture and Drawing

The original drawings were from sculptors including Barbara Hepworth, Elisabeth Frink, Henry Moore, Lynn Chadwick, Eric Gill, Allen Jones and Eduardo Paolozzi.They were paired with drawings by contemporary artists including Zachary Eastwood Bloom, James Capper, Jodie Carey, Richard Deacon RA, Sokari Douglas Camp, Laura Ford, Tania Kovats, Langlands & Bell, Hew Locke, William Mackrell, Susie MacMurray, Humphrey Ocean, Cathie Pilkington RA, Amy Stephens, Susan Stockwell and Susan York.
