SATISFIXATION employs industrial practices to explore themes relevant to contemporary society, including social dysfunction as a consequence of overreliance on technology and the degradation of unique cultural identities. The work blends social critique with satirical views of society and global phenomena to examine human relationships as mechanical systems. Since performance is not the primary impetus for the work, the anonymity in using the alias SATISFIXATION is intended to diminish the prominence of the performer as an assigned individual, instead showing his/her relationship to the physical work in the service of this malevolent corporate entity.
